K-PLAN is a knee surgery simulation software. It allows for
simulations of both total knee replacement and
unicompartmental knee arthroplasty. It utilizes reconstructed
knee models from MRI or CT scans for the surgical simulation.
It enables simulations of bone resection, artificial joint insertion,
and provides the results in a report format.
For femur, it offers WSL, TEA, and FEA as
rotation axes. For tibia, it provides MTT, Akagi,
and Cobbs as rotation axes. Additionally,
it offers kinematic alignment methods.
Users can add artificial joints that are used in
virtual surgery using STL files generated
through design or 3D scanning. It supports
not only conventional total knee replacement
(TKR) but also unicompartmental knee
replacement (UKR) and custom artificial joints.
A summarized report of the surgical
simulation results is offered.
